  • Feeding Program

    At The Rise Center of Hilltop, we believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious food. Our feeding program is dedicated to providing meals to those in our community who are facing food insecurity, hunger, or difficult circumstances. Through the generous support of donors and volunteers, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in need.

    Breakfast is served from 7:30am - 9:00am

    Lunch is served from 12:00pm - 1:30pm

    Dinner is served from 4:00pm - 5:00pm

  • Food bank

    We are dedicated to fighting hunger and nourishing our community. We believe everyone should have access to food and we work tirelessly to provide access to food for individuals and families in need throughout the greater Tacoma.

    Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

    Hours: 11am - 3pm

    Food donations accepted anytime Monday - Friday during regular operating hours.

  • Clothing Bank

    Our clothing bank plays a vital role in providing essential clothing items to individuals and families who may not have the means to purchase them otherwise. We welcome all community members to come browse our clothing bank and take what they need.

    Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

    Hours: 11am - 3pm

    We are currently accepting donations! Major needs:

    Socks, shoes, gloves, hats, Men’s athletic wear, etc.

Offered Services

Through our three programs (Life, Literacy, and Leadership), we are dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives. Our programs are designed to provide support, guidance, and resources to help participants overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and thrive in all aspects of life. Our programs include but are not limited to:

Life Program:

  • Housing programs

  • Counseling programs (mental health, substance abuse, etc)

  • Driver License, State ID, and important life documents

  • Legal Financial Obligation (LFO) support

  • Elderly Support programs

Literacy Program:

  • Financial literacy

  • Home ownership

  • Learning Disability support services for adults

  • GED Programs

  • Certification Programs

  • Community writing sessions

Leadership Programs:

  • Community service and engagement

  • Feeding programs

  • Jobs Skills development

  • Youth Development programs
